The long hike takes place on the El Gavilán trail, within the limits of the national park. The hike has a distance of approximately two kilometers through natural trails. Along the way, it is possible to appreciate the huge native trees, the dense tropical jungle and occasionally, species of fauna such as monkeys, birds, reptiles, amphibians and hopefully some mammals. In this activity we will enter the trails of the Tortuguero National Park, where we will make an exuberant route, where nature will show us its diversity in both animals and jungle plants, on this route we will see animals such as snakes, agoutis, peacocks, monkeys, tapirs, green macaws and scarlet macaws, green and red macaws, anteaters and sloths, frogs, iguanas among others, everything that nature puts at our disposal, you can also enjoy the relaxing sounds of nature and enjoy an exotic peace away from all the polluted sounds of the city, this experience is unique and recommended.
